Machine Embroidery

My approach to machine embroidery is as another mark making tool, to create both line and texture, often in conjunction with mixed media collage work. I also enjoy experimenting, pushing the boundaries with machine embroidery to create new kinds of textures and surfaces and exploiting its potential for transparency and intricate pattern.
