Course Details
Come and join me for a relaxing day to learn crazy patchwork. No straight edges involved! Well strictly speaking there are, but this fun technique is all about mixing and matching your fabrics and piecing as you go along, so the focus is on colour and pattern, no precise measuring required! The perfect project to use up all those little scraps of fabric, or to upcycle old pieces or garments. We'll spend the morning selecting colours and piecing together using the "flip and stitch" method. Then later, we can add in some extra patches - perhaps using some vintage lace or upcycled tapestry embroideries and embellish with some hand stitching. You will make a beautiful sample, perfect for a small cushion, or book cover. Materials included, but you will need to bring your sewing machine and thread with you. Suitable for beginners, this simple technique is straightforward to learn and produces wonderful results!

The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
